i did it, yayyyyy, i am soooooo amaaaazing
okay so i finally finished the quarter!! i turned in a take home final today at noon, then i started cooking for the lab holiday party and i made: baked herbed feta, and mushroom pate! i'm sooooo proud of myself. they both smell/look/taste delicious! i'm appetizer queen! i actually really enjoyed doing it. it was fun. and i pretended like i had my own cooking show for people like me who don't know how to cook. so it turns out that i DO know how to cook. who woulda thunk it.
now i'm going to clean my horrendously filthy apartment.

well the world dont move to the beat of just one drum
against my mother's wishes, i stayed out way too late last night. i got home at 2:30 when i had to go take the psychology g r e test at 8:30. i made it there. fifteen minutes early. wide eyed and bushy tailed. two number two pencils in hand. and i finished way before anyone else. there were all these dorky undergrad kids there looking all nervous and asking all sorts of stupid questions. i wanted to look around and be like haaahaaaaa i'm already in grad school, lame-os. but i'm too nice for that. so, miss smarty pants, if you're already in grad school, what are you doing taking the G.rrrrrr.eeee!! you might ask. weeeeellllllll, this stupid grant application i turned in, that i'm never going to get, requires this score for some reason. i already resigned myself to doing poorly on the test so i studied very little. however for some reason i feel like i did great. maybe i was just horrendously sleep deprived. actually i feel fine. i'm still awake from it and i'm working on a take home final that's due monday then i'm dddddddddoooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
i'm convinced i have the FATTEST chin in the world. why. why me. seriously why. cmon, god, i'm only 22, could i have a few more years? please? i'm getting one of those rubber double chin excercising balls. i hate my face.

whew.
okay i have a few things to tell you all.
wednesday was really MY day for the following reasons:
a) i couldn't finish my insanely long statistics homework for wednesday because uh it was insanely long and i realized at 2am tuesday night (when i was still working on it) that i needed to read three sets of articles, one of which was about chaotic itinerancy in the brain (yeah i don't know what it means either) and hamster testes. i also had to make up questions about the articles. at any rate, i didn't finish the homework , so i thought, well ill just use it as my "drop".
...then i found out that taadaa the homework is postponed until tomorrow. woooo
b) i was going to be responsible for running and hosting a wine and cheese tasting next thursday; which i really was not looking forward to. then i found that
...ta daaaa the wine and cheese tasting is cancelled.
c) i was worried about the takehome final for my sensation and perception class because i thought it would be distributed wednesday and due on monday, when i also have about 800000other things due.
...ta ddaaaa it's not going to be distributed until monday and not due until friday
okay that was a good day.
i also just learned something while watching america's funniest home videos:
while wearing a skirt with nylons, always, always always wear underpants under the nylons. otherwise, when your skirt falls down, parts of your bare ass are going to be broadcast on television.
i also just learned something from the bunny.
if you leave a cup of soda on the ground (mike! i'm talking to you), the bunny will tip it over and drink the soda. consequently, bunnies should not drink soda.

well i had a good thanksgiving break.i ate some food.
and my mom gave me some nobake cookies, mike and i are enjoying them all the time. i'm pretty happy to be back at school after the break, these next two weeks are going to be hectic though. then i have plenty of time to "relax".
now i'm eating pad thai and it's thai licious. if there's anything i love about chicago, it's the food. and the city. and the lake. and the bunny. and the school. okay it's everything. but especially the food. yesterday mike and i went to a greek version of waffle house. it was yummy.
here the local restaurants bring in food to one of the thousand coffee shops on campus and they sell it for pretty cheap at lunch. the meals are huge; i usually eat them two days in a row. it's like having lunch for two bucks a day. that's about how much school lunches were in elementary school. except everything is vegetarian and yummy and delicious. and you have a lot of choices. well i pretty much have to go to class now so i'll talk to you all later.
