the following cool things have happened to me today:
i got a tummyache last night because, well, i had been eating nothing but pizza for the past four days. i was whining that i wanted some vegetables, but it was too late to get them. today for lunch i got the world's most delicious and huge salad. i could only eat like 1/2 of it so far. so i'm going to eat it for dinner too.
a teacher called me from a school and said she got 20 permission slips returned for my study. which will take it from 35 kids to 55 kids, and that is, well, awesome. see i have to finish this project by the end of this school year and then i get a masters degree. but yeah i'm having trouble getting subjects. so this is a major and awesome breakthrough for me. i almost cried.
my brain is full. i've been learning too much for the last few days. i wrote mike this email last night:
remind me tonight to print out or email my paper to myself for SGM i'll
know what you mean. my brain. is. totally. full. i just had to poop to
learn a little more.

mike and i are going to bloomington this week...i'm so excited!! we are going to have so. much. fun.
my brother's dog (moochydaisy) had puppies unexpectedly and then died. that's what you call bittersweet. she was the coolest dog ever...she just showed up out of nowhere yet she knew tricks and she was a sweetheart. she would shake your hand for a piece of baloney. she had the cutest little face. she is probably much happier now though. that means, though, PUPPIES! i want to see puppies and pet puppies and play with puppies and bring puppies home with me sneakily. my family is having to feed them with eyedroppers and my mom was so proud today because one of them pooped. they think the puppies are going to make it. i want to seeeeeeeee them.
i just realized today that i can see my apartment from my office window. majorly cool.
well that's all... i knew you would all be wanting another update.

dance. dance. revolution.
wow i didn't realize my blog made such a difference in people's lives. hehe
sorry i haven't posted recently, as mike said i have been studying, not doing the dishes, and watching tv.
i'm home all alone right now, i have a test on tuesday and i'm supposed to be studying but i thought i would take a break (so far, the break has lasted about 8 hours) and play dance dance revolution, watch the beginning of aladdin on tv, and order three pizzas. so i did that.
dominos is having this thing where you can get three pizzas for 15 bucks, which is a pretty good deal because one pizza here is usually over 20 dollars or so. so i ordered three pizzas. i didn't eat it all at once though, although i thought of it.
i broke down and got myself dance dance revolution, a video game where you step on arrows. you can see it here. i don't know those guys but that's what it looks like. i didn't know that this game was available on play station1, and i thought i was going to have to buy/steal/whatever a playstation2 in order to get the game, but i found it on ebay. it was kind of expensive though. i've never spent that much money on a videogame before. i don't think i've spent any money on a videogame before.
also i got ms. pacman for christmas, it has some other games too, but they aren't as cool. so i play that a lot but unfortunately, you don't get much of a workout playing that. snickers is getting angry about dancedancerevolutionb ecause she can't come out of her cage when i'm playing it.
it is snowing so badly here, like a "whiteout". i look out my window and i can't see anything. it's like i live in a tv house.
in my office at school, there is a little refrigerator, i don't know whose it is. but anyways it has some of those wordmagnets on it, where you can arrange them and make little sayings. and one of them says "so totally having crazy". that pretty much sums it up for me right now. i'm so totally having crazy. i have a test on tuesday so i have to learn a lot about biology before then. i'm a little frightened. but whatever, huh?
i'm also supposed to do the dishes, but i think mike should do them, because, as he said, i have trouble walking in the snow.
hmmmm what else
i don't like getting up early. in fact i think i'm physically incapable of getting up early. that's hurting me a bit in the school department. i hope everyone keeps leaving comments for me. i love it, thanks!

toxic insult
well well well what have we here? a lazy lazy girl who never does what she is supposed to. blah bl bl blah. heave.
yeah okay so i don't have much to say that's interesting. i spent the day at school of course. surprise! and then i sat in the library printing things out and sending mike about one million emails. i probably should have been reading or studying or some shit like that.
oh, cute story.
mike's mom got a new car. as a nice mom, she decided to give mike her "old" car. (it's not actually old, fyi). so mike needed to get rid of his old car (which is actually old). he was trying to call some autowreckers to come and get it and they kept not coming. so i suggested he give it away on freecycle. so mike posts up on freecycle, free 1987 toyota corolla, and wouldn't you know, he gets about 150 e-mails from people who need new cars. they are all single mothers with children with heart conditions or old people who need to get to doctor's appointments and the such. so he picks this one lady who works in our neighborhood and wants to give the car to her son so he can get to work without having to walk around in their bad neighborhood at night. so he gives the car to this lady, who's pretty happy about it. it was kind of sad to see that car go because i remember all these times with mike visiting me and i would get so happy when i saw that little car pull in the parking lot at graham place. and other assorted memories.
but anyways today mike gets an email from the lady's friend saying that the car couldn't have come at a better time because they were waiting forever last night for the son to come home from work to surprise him with the car. and he finally comes home, bleeding from the eye, and saying "get me to the hospital" because he had been attacked on his way home from work. anyway that's really sad but the kid is okay and it's going to be awesome that he has this car to drive so he doesn't have to get attacked anymore. mike was worried that maybe he didn't pick the right people because there were so many people just begging for this car. so if you ever get a new car and have an old one and nothing to do with it, you should freecycle it. you would be surprised how happy you can make people. mike is the real oprah. hmph.

four more years, it's official. also official: we're not happy about it.
well congress has officially accepted the results of the 2004 election despite the efforts of some lawmakers, which you can read about in this article.
i sent a thank you email to barbara boxer. it's real easy, just go here. I'm sure she's getting a lot of shitty letters from people so if you're interested you could take a minute to just send her an email.
i'm finally getting over my cold. i'm also freeking out. woop woop. i'm taking the day off from life. well actually i'm just not going out in this snowy mess, i'm staying here to read hundreds of pages of homework assignment and to have cramps and do the dishes. and i just took a bath. because it's freeking cold here. blahblahblah. outie.

that's like an ice cream man named cone
it's my first day of school.
i'm still really sick. i don't know where i got this cold but it sucks. i kept coughing all during my classes today and i'm sure i was grossing everyone out. I tried really hard to use good manners though. Oh well i don't have to be there tomorrow really until 3:30 (obviously i should work before this) but i don't have any obligations until the afternoon so maybe i'll sleep in. i don't know. blahblah. snickers and i are just lounging on the couch together. she is so cute. blahblah. i don't really have anything interesting to talk about.
except did you know that you should wear your safety belt? if you don't, and your forehead smashes into the dashboard, did you know that your brain can literally snap off at the stem? *crack* so wear your safety belt. and never let the person behind you not wear his or her safety belt because they could fly over the top of your seat and smash into the back of your head and kill you.

sometimes you're gonna play ms. pacman and lose
hello, kids.
i had some complaints that i haven't been updating my blog lately so here's an update. quite frankly, i had forgotten i had a blog, what with the immense popularity and social busy-ness i have been enjoying lately (that was a joke). actually i'm unfortunately very lazy. as i'm sure most of you know. and my computer won't connect to the internet for some reason so i have to use mike's. i better make this quick because he's going to be home from work in about 5 minutes and i know he'll want to obsessively check his email. cuz that's what he does.
anyways i had a cool christmas/new years eve. i got a lot of cool presents. including a hello kitty toaster that toasts hello kitty's face on every slice of bread. and lots of other cool stuff that i'll go into more detail about later. mike got me a sushi cookbook and kit and guess what. yesterday, mike and i made sushi. real sushi. we really did. he took photos to prove it. yes it took a really long time. yes it was delicious. no i can't believe we did that. no that doesn't mean we're not going out for sushi anymore. but i guess we'll try. too bad that i'm coming down with a cold or something and don't have much of an appetite. really unfortunate.
also i dyed my hair black. it's getting mixed reviews.
i'm feeling pretty blah overall. i don't care one way or the other. about anything really. i just wish i didn't feel sick, that would probably help. oh shit and school starts tomorrow. blah.
oh well, there's yer update. more coming soon. i haven't forgotten you, my adoring internet audience.
