(that was supposed to be the theme song to doogie howser, md) when ever i write on my blog i feel a little bit like doogie howser, boy, that kid was *so* ahead of his time.
let's see whats up...okay i went home for a few days, that was fun. and i'm writing a paper to hopefully be published and i'm almost done with it. it feels so good because i have been putting off starting on it and now i'm almost done. maybe mike and i can go out to celebrate or something.
also yeah i went to the doctor and he says i have asthma. so now i have a little nerdy inhaler *thlobber*. as if i wasn't dorky enough...
also i got a new bike from mike's brother. it's really awesome. it's vintage. *thlobber*. we're currently trying to determine the bike's age. it's a raleigh sports, which is an english bike from the 60's or 70's. it was made in nottingham. it looks way cool. i'm going to put a photo of a similar looking bike now:
okay no i'm not because i couldn't find one. mike suggests i take a photo of it and post it. i shall do that. but later. anyways adios.
p.s. today is my brother's 18th birthday. that is out of control.

thank you everyone for your kind comments in response to the theft. everything is squared away now, except for the fact that im missing cds. but hey life goes on, right! it was about time for me to change my musical tastes anyways. lalala. grrr
mike and i moved stuff around in our apartment and it looks lovely, i should say. i'm going to put up more photos right now. so check it out at:

not doing much except having a disease, watching the olympics, playing with the bunny, watching people gesture (for a living), and wasting time not going to the beach, because, well, it's cold. whoever heard of chicago summers being cold? god. okay enjoy the photos.
yesterday mike and i went to the art institute for free tuesdays. and i went to my volunteer job at the shikago wymyn's hellth sinterr (purposely misspelled, a technique i borrowed from liz) and it was very nice. i like it there. and it's all the way on the north side so it gives me a reason to leave hyde park at least once a week. okay i'm done now. adios.

blatant disregard for the property of others
was demonstrated yesterday when someone bashed in the passenger's side window of my car and stole all my CDs. then they sprinkled the CDs around Hyde Park, breaking some of them. Yeah they are all pretty much lost.
Don't tell me, you shouldn't leave yr CDs in yr car. because yeah i know that now. and they were in the glovebox, out of view. so whatever. i know i shouldn't have left them and now they're lost and i'm a sad sad girl.
but i'm not going to let this get me down and i'm not going to stop defending the safety of southside chicago. because we all know that this sort of thing can happen anywhere. i'm going to go puke now. xo
