i went to a pumpkincarving party tonight and everyone else used stencils and made pretty pictures on their pumpkins but i just did the standard triangle eyes and smile and everybody tried to be real nice but i knew my pumpkin was the suckiest one and then i realized, i had done the whole thing upside-down. that's right. upside-down. how many PhD-candidates does it take to carve a pumpkin? blech.
