oh, hello there, blog, fancy seeing you here.

so i haven't blogged for a while. that seems to be what people do. we get these blogs and we're so excited to share our every thought and story with the world, then we get too lazy. too lazy to think and move our fingers around a little bit. that's pretty bad. i must admit, i'm the laziest of the bunch. oh well....

i'm at school right now. my next two weeks are going to be a blur of linear models, waving hands and powerpoint presentations. i'm just trying to sit back, relax, and take it all in. i'm not freaking out or working too hard this time. i'm just trying to, well, enjoy stress. i know it seems difficult, but i just giggle maniacally whenever anything slightly amusing happens. that makes me laugh more. lalalaaaaaaa......

no but i really do have a lot to do today. and i've only been at school for six hours so far, six more to go!! then i get to go home! woo!

oh yesterday i (stupidly) got on the bus going the wrong direction. i decided to take a different bus because if i waited for the one i usually take, i was going to be late. so i got on this other bus, after checking the schedule the map etc. everything seemed fine. well, you know how most busses go in a circle and you get off anywhere on the circle, or you could just ride around and around and around all day until they noticed you? well, not this one...

i got on the bus, the bus driver was looking at me a little funny. then we went about one block where he stopped, and everyone got out. i assumed the bus was going to continue its little circle and take me to school. i was wrong....
bus driver: "ma'am, this is the end of the line. i don't go any farther."
bus girl: "huh? don't you go back to the university?"
bus driver: "uh, no, i'm off now. i'm going downtown"
bus girl: (moving to front, with confused look on face) "oh, okay, well, i'll just walk"
bus driver: "well.....are you going to be late? or whatever? (sighing uncomfortably)"
bus girl: "yeah but it's okay...it's my own fault...i don't usually take this bus"
bus driver: (taking off) "okay, where are we going?"
bus girl: "uhm, 59th and university"

so the point is that the bus driver *personally* delivered me directly to school. that was a good way to start a day. it was pretty funny. and i wasn't late. i liked the look on everyone's faces as the bus blew by its regularly scheduled stops. then when the guy dropped me off, there was an old lady there and she was like "where does this bus go? does it go to 53rd and lake park?" and the guy was all like well i'm actually off now and she was like okay i'll wait. then he said, no, get on...i'm going that way anyway. so there was this great bus driver personally delivering people all day after he got off work. it made me really happy.
well it's lunchtime. i got TWO bags of potato chips today, because i picked the one out of the vending machine that had a bag hanging precariously from the front, and, score! i got them both. okay well gotta go.
