the following letter to the president was written by my sister:
I was wondering how you would like it if you went to a restaurant and the waiter handed you a menu with GOOD food. I'm talking mashed potatoes and steak! Then he ripped the menu out of your hands and sat a nasty plate of cold spinach in front of you. And said, "Eat!"
Then you say, "But why do I have to eat nasty cold spinach when I could be eating steak and potatoes?!"
"Because I run this restaurant, and you'll do what I say. I am the big cheese."
"That isn't fair, this restaurant is 5 stars! I should get quality!"
"When I am in charge you'll do what I say!"
"But isn't that taking away my rights to choose?! The whole reason for being an American is for the freedom of choice, speech, religion and all that good stuff! This restaurant was great before you became in charge!"
"Too bad, I run it now."
Okay, back to reality. Think of the waiter as you, the President of the US. Think as the customer as women. Get it? Okay. Re-think your ways of "improving" the country.
