i wanna know

so yeah. cool. awesome. i'm going to make a list.

-december is the worst month for people on stipends. Of this I am quite
sure. It also appears to be the worst month for servers and Mikes.

-I started eating some seafood. I just felt like it's time and my body is
telling me something. So far I have enjoyed:
scallops
imitation crab
real crab
fillet-o-fish (may have caused major allergic reaction, not eating again)
tuna casserole
salad dressing with anchovies in it (was not good)

I'm taking it slowly. some things still look really gross to me (for
example, shrimp). so far my favorite things were tuna casserole
and crab rangoon--which tastes like fair food as far as I could tell.

-we are starting to get gigs after sending our CD around to all these
venues. It is slowly happening, but I am really psyched. this is one of
the most fun things i have ever done. Playing in front of other people
makes me really nervous but we are working on our KISS-like moves. so you
know we don't look like kids at a guitar center recital or something.

-we also have a myspace so if you're not our friend yet ADD US NOW DUDE.

-i just found out yesterday what kinds of non-academic jobs people with
PhDs can have. I guess i will finish school after all. i want to make, as
the lady said, "buckets of money" working for coppertone ads or something.

Comments:
hey, WHAT are the non-academic options? what lady? share your knowledge! i want to work for coppertone!

and it's good to listen to your body. you should go to cracker barrel and order the friday fish fry, that's some good-ass fish if you're eating that now.

amy and I had a (seriously) 20 minute conversation about the buckets last night. are they metal or plastic? filled with coins or dollars? And where could you put them all? You know that part at the start of ducktales when he goes swimming in his money room? I want that. RIGHT NOW. Goodbye research.

Oh filet o fish, you cruel, delicious temptress... muahahaha
