lost combination

hey have you guys ever forgotten the combination to a master lock? do
you know the extent you have to go through to get them to send you the
combination.

you have to:
send a photocopy of the back of the lock, clearly showing the serial
number and showing that the lock is not attached to anything.

fill out a legally binding form saying that you are the owner of the lock.

have the form NOTARIZED BY A NOTARY PUBLIC.

or, go to any store and buy a new lock for 3.99.

just as a matter of principle, i'm going to actually do all this,
including finding a notary public and getting them to notarize my
legal document stating that I, being duly sworn, say I am the owner of
Master Lock (R) padlock with the serial number X.

Comments:
oh yeah do NOT mess with this lady cause she will call your bluff...lol tm

haha do you know any notaries?

a lot of times you can get stuff notarized by people who work in ups or fed ex stores. they usually have someone on hand to do it during normal business hours. or kinko's or someplace like that. i think it costs money.

good for you for sticking it to masterlock. what the hell.

It probably costs more than 4 bucks to get the thing notarized
